Lockheed Martin to cut jobs related to Space Shuttle
Lockheed Martin has announced that they are now going to start cutting jobs as the NASA’s space shuttle program winds down.
These job cuts would occur at several locations including:
Marshall Space Flight Center at Huntsville
Kennedy Space Center in Florida
The company added that they might have to lay off more than 8,000 contractor jobs after the Shuttle retires.
NASA is going to move to Constellation program which is going to develop the next generation space vehicle.
