Sprint launches Airave mobile signal booster

US based mobile service provider Sprint has announced the launch of a new device named Airave.

Airave has been developed by Samsung and it basically acts as a mini-cell phone tower.

The device connects to the Sprint’s network via a user’s broadband network.

It then creates a mobile network within a region of up to 5,000 square feet.

This can be used to provide mobile services within an office or a home.

Tom Jasny, Samsung Mobile’s VP of wireless systems and broadband spoke about this new product launch: “People want ubiquitous cell service on their wireless phones everywhere they go, and that includes their home and offices. The Airave makes it even easier to get enhanced coverage, no matter where you live or work.”
