Vonage’s subscriber growth almost static
Vonage Holdings Corp. continues to struggle as their subscriber growth has now nearly grounded.
The company has now reported that they gained just around 2,000 lines in the second quarter of the year.
Vonage Chief Financial Officer Marc Lefar stated that they have however made progress in retaining their existing customers.
Due to financial crunch the company had to slow down their advertising strategy which has hit them with slow subscriber growth.
The company has posted a quarterly loss of $6.9 million in the quarter compared to a loss of $23.2 million in the same period last year.
Their sales were up at $228 million. This figure is up 11%.
