GM: Chevrolet Volt development on track
US based automaker GM has said that their Chevrolet Volt is still on track to launch in the market within the next two years.
The company said that the current versions of the Chevrolet Volt’s battery packs are powerful enough to run the high-stakes rechargeable car.
However, they are still working on resolving other issues before this car could be ready for mass production.
GM had displayed Volt as a concept vehicle at the 2007 Detroit auto show.
The company said that they aim to launch the vehicle with an equivalent fuel efficiency of 150 miles per gallon.
