Netflix suffers from a major outage
DVD rental service Netflix has confirmed that they suffered a major outage this week. The problem could still be on and this is affecting about a third of its 8.4 million customers.
The company said that they could not ship any DVD on Tuesday. Wednesday was a bit better.
Netflix spokesman Steve Swasey added in a statement that they would be providing credits to affected customers.
They continue to work hard on resolving the problem which is affecting their delivery process.
Swasey added: “This time, the site’s been up but our shipping system is down. It’s worse than it was in March. We’re really backlogged.”
