Frank Biondi Jr. and John Chapple now on Yahoo Board
Internet media giant Yahoo has announced two new board members.
The company has selected Frank Biondi Jr. and John Chapple to join their existing board.
Frank Biondi Jr. is the former CEO of Viacom while John Chapple is the former CEO of Nextel Partners.
Yahoo picked up these two new members from a list of nine people Carl Icahn had recommended.
Icahn was pressurizing Yahoo to get into a deal with Microsoft which was not acceptable to the company.
The two parties entered into a compromise deal and these two new board members are now going to represent Icahn.
