Audi R8 sold out in India for this year
German automaker Audi has plans to launch their Audi R8 model in the Indian market later this year.
Incidentally, the car is already sold out as the company has received confirmed bookings for 15 cars.
They would be importing this model directly from their plant in Germany. Audi India said that the model is almost fully booked for the year worldwide.
Audi said: “In Germany, people have to wait for months for delivery of the R8. Since the car is partly handmade, the numbers are limited. The car is almost sold out globally this year.”
Audi added that they already have 2-3 customers of this model in India who got it through direct import route.
Audi already has on sale several models in India including A8, Q7, A6, A4 and TT.
