Upcoming new cars in the Indian market

The year is far from over for the Indian automotive market… a lot of new models are currently scheduled to arrive before the end of 2008.

Tata of course is expected to launch their Tata nano model during the festival season. This project is however still facing opposition in the state of West Bengal.

Tata is also working on launching the second generation Indica model. This new generate has been named Tata Indica Vista.

Toyota would be launching the brand new Corolla. This new model is expected to be named Toyota Corolla Altis.

Maruti Suzuki would launch yet another small car. This new model would be the Suzuki A-Star. This model would feature the company’s new generation of engine which are more fuel efficient and are also complaint with Euro 4 and Euro 5.

Hyundai is expected to launch their i20 car. It would be placed between their i10 and Getz model here in India.

Honda would be launching the brand new City model later this year. This would be the third generation City for the Indian market.

Fiat is expected to finally bring their Linea model to India before the end of the year.
