Tata planning to bring Land Rover to India
Tata Motors has announced that they are planning to expand the availability of their Land Rover brand which they recently acquired from Ford.
This means that the company could also bring the models from this brand in the Indian market.
Tata Motors President Passenger Cars Rajiv Dube said in a statement on the possibilities: “Land Rover is already present in India in Mumbai in a small way. What we understand from our colleagues in Jaguar Land Rover that they are looking at expanding Land Rover’s footprint in the Indian market in a fairly aggressive manner in the near future.”
The company has already stated that they aim to bring both Jaguar and Land Rover here in India.
