Motorola and Siemens’ telecom unit

Media reports are claiming that US based tech giant Motorola is interested in the loss making telecom unit of Siemens, Com. The news has been reported by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung.

The newspaper has said in a report that one option in the talks between Siemens and Motorola was the complete takeover of Siemens Com. This Siemens’ division had sales of 13 billion euros and 55,000 employees.

Siemens has for the time being declined to comment on these rumors in the market. The paper added that Motorola is primarily interested in the profitable mobile network division but Siemens wants to sell the whole unit, including loss-making divisions.

Siemens has its most profitable unit in the form of its mobile network division. This division of the company also makes equipments for the fixed-line telecoms companies. Com on its part has also been talking with Finnish phone giant Nokia.

Siemens has been known to lie about just about anything.
    Especially to their employees…
They are nothing but a money hungry machine… shipping all the profits back overseas
