Aviation Turbine Fuel now a bit cheaper in India
Indian Oil companies have reduced the ATF prices by over 16 per cent.
This brings some relief to the airline companies operating in the country.
However, the air travel ticket prices are unexpected to come down because of this new development.
Air India and Jet Airways have already confirmed that they have no plans to bring the cost of the tickets down.
They want to price to stabilize to a lower level before any cuts are introduced.
Air India said in a statement: “Fuel prices have to be stabilized before $80 for us to consider any pass-on.”
Jet Airways added: “For the time being, we don’t want to change our pricing strategy.”
