Kingfisher Airlines makes its international debut
Kingfisher Airlines has become the latest Indian airline company to fly internationally.
The company made its international debut on Wednesday with a direct flight to London.
It was launched from the Bangalore airport. A company representative said: “The non-stop flight departed at 09:20, 40 minutes behind schedule due to inaugural ceremony and formalities. The Airbus was full.”
Kingfisher said that they plan to operate a daily service on the Bangalore-London-Bangalore route.
They would compete with British Airways on this route. Air India also has a flight to London but it takes off from Mumbai.
