Tata Nano plant problem sorted out finally
West Bengal government has announced that they have now finally settled the issues raised by Trinamool Congress which had halted work at their Tata Nano plant in Singur district in West Bengal.
Trinamool Congress party said that they would now allow the company to resume work at the plant.
The company would have to now return some of the land acquired from the farmers in the state.
Some other farmers would be given compensation to address their problems.
Party leader Mamata Banerjee spoke about this new development: “It’s a big victory of farmers in Singur.”
Tata aims to launch their Nano model in October this year. When launched, it would become the cheapest car in the entire world.
