Lions Gate Entertainment collaborates with Zed Group
Film studio Lions Gate Entertainment has announced that they are now collaborating with Spanish mobile content provider Zed Group.
Lions Gate also announced that they are now launching their own ad-supported channel on Google’s YouTube video sharing service.
Lions Gate would now use their deal with Zed to promote their content and movies on their mobile platform.
Curt Marvis, President of Digital Media for Lions Gate said that the deal would help them check out the potential of advertising to mobile users.
He said: “If we see something works on mobile, we might decide to develop it as a television series or feature movie.”
They are all set to launch their own video channel on YouTube as well.
