Renault cheap car for India being designed in Mumbai
Renault has decided that they would be using the facilities in Mumbai to develop their upcoming cheap compact car for the Indian market.
This car is being developed in collaboration with Bajaj Auto.
The main design framework is being developed at the company’s Mumbai design center.
This division would take in inputs from the company’s other design centers across the world.
As per market reports, around 10-12 Indian designers are working on this small car project. Pankaj Jhunja is the head of the design center while Ajay Jain is the chief designer.
