More Hyundai i10 being manufactured in India
Hyundai Motor has announced that they have now enhanced the production of their i10 small car in the Indian market.
The company has now added a third shift in their plant in south India to meet the growing demand for this small car.
Hyundai is working on plans to make India their manufacturing hub for such compact vehicles.
They have already sold more than 172,000 units of i10 model since its launch in October 2007. It has been a smashing success in the Indian market.
Hyundai Motor India’s managing director, H.S. Lheem spoke about the new developments: “The introduction of the new shift will help us meet demand and help us capture a bigger share of the market”.
