Tata Nano plant likely to move out of West Bengal

Market sources are suggesting that Tata Motors has already started moving some machinery out of their existing plant in West Bengal.

This could be the biggest hint to the possibility that they are now moving out of the state and are now going to relocate the Nano plant.

Tata has plans to launch the Nano by next month and the delays are not helping their cause.

The company had suspended the work at the Singur plant several weeks ago and it has yet to resume due to political controversies surrounding the project.

Tata has for now declined to comment on the reports in the media. Unless something drastic happens, the company could make an announcement about their decision in the coming days.

It seems that Tata is going out, from the TATA motor project, singur. My proposal is to set up a statue of Mamata in front of the main gate of Tata motor project, for forthcoming generation, with this article “Statue of the lady who killed an unborn baby ‘Nano’ with his mother at this area.”
