Yahoo could re-open discussions with AOL
The new board members at Yahoo have now given their approval to fresh talks with Time Warner.
The two companies were in talks about the future of AOL earlier this year.
No active discussions are on at the moment. But the company could now restart their talks with Time Warner for any collaborative deal with their AOL unit.
AOL has been working hard to shift its focus from providing internet services to online services.
They now generate more revenues from online advertising than from paid for services.
