Volkswagen India setting up a plant in Pune
German automaker Volkswagen has said that they are now setting up a car plant in the city of Pune.
The company has big plans for the Indian market as they aim to become a bigger player here.
VW added that they are also opening an office to facilitate business and trade with Maharashtra.
The company has a larger goal of becoming the number one car manufacturer in the world in the next ten years.
The ever growing Indian market would play a big role if they want to achieve this goal.
