Reliance Big Entertainment in deal with Steven Spielberg
Anil Ambani’s Reliance Big Entertainment is collaborating with Steven Spielberg to launch a new movie studio that would be based in the USA.
It is likely to be joined by Stacey Snider and David Geffen of DreamWorks.
The new studio formed by this joint venture would product movies aimed at world markets.
The deal is worth around USD 1.5 billion.
They are planning to produce 30-35 films over the next five years.
The deal is also likely to see Spielberg moving out from his current arrangement with Paramount Pictures.
