Maharashtra invites Tata for Nano project
More and more states are now sending their invitations to Tata to move their Nano plant into their region.
Tata has confirmed that they are now moving out of West Bengal where they had almost completed the work on the plant located in Singur region.
Politics ruined the plans as the company faced problems from opposition parties in Bengal. The company tried their best but could not satisfy the demands made by the people opposing their plant.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has now invited Ratan Tata to setup their Nano plant in the state.
Deshmukh said in a statement: “Ratan Tata had approached me when I was on a tour to Europe. Now I will meet him to discuss the proposal.”
