eBay to cut workforce by around 10%
Online auction service eBay has announced that they are now trimming their operations by around 10%.
The company is now expected to exceed its third-quarter earnings forecast.
They are also now acquiring the Bill Me Later payments service.
EBay is also acquiring operations of Den Bla Avis and BilBasen classifieds services for about $390 million.
The company said that the job cuts would affect around 1,000 employees and several hundred temporary workers.
