Gujarat turning out to be a good deal for Tata Nano
Tata has said that they are very impressed to see how Gujarat government worked at super speed to make sure that everything was in order as soon as possible for them to make the decision to locate their plant in the state.
Ratan Tata had this to say: “The speed with which they moved was unbelievably fast. If it had been possible to move the assembly line in a day we could have come here.”
He added that the plant in Gujarat would be bigger and would be able to manufacture more cars compared to their original plant in Singur West Bengal.
Tata Motors added that the Gujarat government has also agreed to match all the incentives offered by West Bengal government.
They would get access to the land acquired for the project in the next couple of days.
