Luminous to launch electric scooter Lectrix

Lectrix is the name of the new electric scooter that is coming to the Indian market.

It has been developed by Luminous Power Technologies which is a dominating player in the power storage segment of the market.

The company said that they have already conducted testing of the scooter and they would be bringing it to the market next month.

The scooter is result of two years of research and the company aims to sell about 23,000 units by next year.

Luminous Power Technologies Founder and CEO Rakesh Malhotra spoke about their plans: “Presently, we would be focusing our business in North India only. Most of the outlets are opening next month and they are located in all major cities in North India like Delhi and also in smaller cities like Hisar, Karnal and Meerut.”

    Re. Ebikes: Give a customer (1)power and speed,(below 60kmph is ridiculous), (2)the option to choose his batteries (A higher AH for long distance and a lower AH for short distance)(3)a solar panel for free top-ups, (4)Lithium batteries (long life, no maintenance, chargeable from any point in the discharged cycle without deleterious effects)…the price will be variable depending on his own needs and wont matter!
    The point is …you have a serious competitor to the petrol-driven bike!!
