ICICI Bank sends SMS to customers assuring them
Rumors in the market are so strong that ICICI Bank had to send SMS messages to their banking customers assuring them that their deposits are safe.
The message stated: “Please do not listen to baseless rumors”.
It also greeted the customers for the upcoming festive season.
ICICI Bank said that the measure was taken to assure their customers so that they do not worry about their savings in their bank accounts.
A bank representative said that their customers are not withdrawing money from their accounts in large numbers but they are getting calls from worried customers on their customer support numbers.

Same kind of comments Lehman Brothers, Washington Mutual & Wachovia gave before they Vanished…. I hope ICICI stays strong and its stock does not collapses on monday like its counter part worldwide.
