Circuit City reports improved earning reports
Circuit City Stores has reported impressive revenue growth figures. In addition, the company posted profits in the fourth quarter. Circuit City seems to have benefited from internal improvements and exceptionally strong sales of flat-panel televisions.
The company shares gained as much as 7% in the stock market as a result of this positive performance from the company. These figures were better than market expectations as Circuit City reported a 65 percent increase in its earnings.
Chief Executive Officer Philip J. Schoonover said in a statement that they have gained by better managing its supply chain. He added that the company was proud of this significant improvement in its performance in the recent months.
They have been working hard on achieving this tremendous growth. Circuit City have relocated loss making stores, improved on its merchandising and took many other steps to stay competitive against the competition like Best Buy, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and other retailers.
