Volvo XC60 coming to India next year

Swedish luxury car maker Volvo has said that they are not worried about the worsening economic conditions in the international market.

The company has high hopes from the Indian market and they are going to continue enhancing their product portfolio.

Volvo India has just launched a new variant of its existing SUV XC90 here in India. This new model is priced at Rs 58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The company is now working on plans to bring yet another luxury SUV model XC60 in India next year.

Volvo XC60 is going to be launched in European markets next month.

Volvo Car India Managing Director Paul de Voijs spoke about the market conditions: “Not many people are affected at the top end by the ongoing global financial crisis and the luxury segment is picking up very fast. We are internally preparing for the homologation process and will launch the car accordingly then.”
