Volvo XC90 R-DESIGN launched in India

Volvo has launched an updated edition of their Volvo XC90 SUV in the Indian market.

This new updated version is named Volvo XC90 R-DESIGN.

The company had first introduced this model in India last year.

Volvo said that the updated model comes loaded with a evolutionary 4.4litre petrol engine.

This engine generates 315 HP and 440Nm of torque. The company has also re-calibrated the model for a more fun driving experience.

Paul de Voijs, Managing Director, Volvo Car India spoke at the launch ceremony: “The launch of the Volvo XC90 R-DESIGN aims to broaden our model range to attract more customers with an active and urban lifestyle. R-DESIGN is entirely in line with the focus on making our cars more extrovert and emotional. It gives the buyers the opportunity to spice up the already distinct personality of the Volvo XC90.”
