Kingfisher and Jet Airways to send back 15 planes after lease completion
Kingfisher Airlines and Jet Airways have entered into a collaboration which would see them serving their customers together.
The aim is to cut costs in the competitive aviation sector in India where almost all the airline companies are making huge losses.
The two companies have now announced that they would be sending back 15 planes to the leasing companies after the deal period ends.
The two airline companies have a combined fleet of 189 aircrafts and they can afford to have less planes with them individually now.
Eight of these planes are being used by Kingfisher currently. Rest are with Jet Airways.
