Jet Airways calls back all fired employees!
Jet Airways has announced that they are now calling back all the fired employees.
Jet Airways chairman Naresh Goyal said in a statement: “I apologize for all the trauma which the sacked employees have gone through in last two days. The company is like my family and so are the employees. My conscious does not allow me to see my employees worried.”
They had just announced this job cut as part of a cost saving measure as the industry is facing tough times and almost all the airline companies are making huge losses.
Jet Airways has also entered into a deal with rival Kingfisher Airlines and the two companies are now going to share their fleet and sell seats on flights from both.
Goyal spoke about the alliance and the new developments: “The management will have to understand the issue as it is about the welfare of the employees who have been hired by the company. The management may not like my decision but I have made it”.
