Toyota Corolla Altis Diesel could be coming to India
market sources say that Japanese automaker Toyota is now planning to bring a diesel engine powered version of Toyota Corolla Altis in the Indian market.
The company recently launched the petrol edition of their updated Toyota Corolla Altis model.
Diesel is much cheaper compared to petrol here in India and this makes it more lucrative for customers to go for diesel cars.
Toyota could power the diesel model of Toyota Corolla Altis with a 1.4 liter turbo-diesel engine which they use in the Yaris hatchback.
Market sources say that this new model could be launched in India by the middle of next year.
