Maruti Suzuki to expand R&D team in India
India’s leading automaker Maruti Suzuki has announced that they are now going to expand their Research and Development team here in India.
The company aims to have around 1000 engineers working on R&D by the end of 2010.
Maruti Suzuki currently has around 570 engineers working at its R&D division.
The company added that they are not scared of the current global slowdown.
They are going to continue their investments and expansions as scheduled.
Maruti has also just launched their new engine, KB Series. These engines would be used in their upcoming model A-Star. Maruti is also planning to use these new generation of engines in their other products.
