Mitsubishi reportedly cutting production due to falling sales
News media company Kyodo has reported that Japanese automaker Mitsubishi is considering cutting down production by up to 100,000 units in five months from November.
This is largely due to falling sales as the global economy is taking a beating.
The report said that the automaker is also expected to revise down its planned global sales.
The company is currently aiming to sell 1.39 million units in the financial year ending in March next year.
Mitsubishi is not alone. Even Honda and Toyota are somewhat struggling and are expected to post declining sales figures in the coming weeks.
