Things not going right for Motorola

Motorola has come out with their latest revenue report and the numbers are not good.

The company has posted a quarterly net loss. Revenues are down 15% which is worse than market expectations.

Motorola has also said that they are now delaying the process of spinning off its mobile division.

RBC Capital analyst Mark Sue spoke about Motorola: “Motorola is doing a major reboot as it attempts to improve its competitive positioning, suggesting longer term the company may re-emerge as a stronger entity. Near term, the situation in mobile devices may deteriorate further as Motorola is sorely lacking a compelling product portfolio in entry level and smartphone.”

The US based mobile phone maker is said to be working hard on developing some new exciting products based on the Google Android mobile platform.

This could be their jackpot to yet another success story after the RAZR.
