Mformation Technologies suing Research in Motion for patent infringement
Mformation Technologies has announced that they have now filed a lawsuit against Research in Motion for patent infringement.
Research in Motion is the company behind the hugely popular Blackberry platform and mobile devices.
Mformation is claiming that RIM infringes on two of their owned patents in their products and services.
Mformation claims in the lawsuit: “After refusing to license Mformation’s disclosed systems and software, RIM modified its Blackberry software to include Mformation’s patented systems and methods of remote management.”
RIM is yet to issue a statement in response to this lawsuit.
