AMD latest to announce job cuts
Microprocessor company AMD has joined the list of companies who have announced job cuts to save money and stay competitive in these tough times.
AMD has announced that it’s cutting 500 workers from their operations.
This comes to around 3 percent of its global staff.
AMD said that this is one of the many steps being taken to return back to profitability in the coming years.
AMD has been struggling to compete against Intel in the PC Processor market.
