Starbucks loses Pete Bocian to Hewlett Packard
Starbucks has confirmed that their Chief Financial Officer Pete Bocian is leaving the company to join personal computer maker Hewlett Packard.
Bocian would become the chief administrative officer of HP once he joins them next month.
Bocian had joined the coffee chain Starbucks in April 2007.
He was previously working at NCR which makes ATM machines.
He became the CFO of Starbucks in October 2007.
Starbucks announced that Troy Alstead would replace Bocian at his position in the company.
RBC Capital Markets analyst Larry Miller spoke about this new development: “I’m a little surprised. He hasn’t been there very long. Nobody likes change on the investor side … Anytime there is a change in management it brings questions.”
