Sprint Nextel in trouble in USA
Sprint Nextel is one of the larger mobile service providers in the US market.
However, the company is losing its edge as customers are moving to rival services.
The company lost another 1.3 million wireless subscribers during the third quarter of the year.
Sprint had to end up with a loss in the quarter.
Company CEO Dan Hesse said in a statement: “We made good progress on our operational priorities in the third quarter and resolved some key issues. Still, subscriber losses are too high.”
Sprint has posted losses of $326 million, or 11 cents per share for the quarter ending in September.
