GM could launch a Maruti 800 rival in India
US based automaker GM has revealed that they have plans to launch a potential rival to Maruti 800 in the Indian market.
Maruti 800 is not the largest selling automobile in India but it is one of the cheapest and most loved ones.
Most potential customers have now moved on to Alto but Maruti 800 still sells in decent numbers.
A car rivaling the Maruti 800 for Indian market could be big challenge for GM.
They are working on two new products for India which could be priced below Chevrolet Spark which is currently their cheapest offering in the Indian market.
GM already faces intense problems due to the struggling economic conditions in their home market of USA.
