DLF Mall of India project on hold?
Market reports are claiming that Indian real estate industry giant DLF has slowed down the production of their largest mall project yet ‘Mall of India’.
This mall project is being constructed in the city of Gurgaon.
Experts believe this is due to falling of rentals in the region and cash crunch in the market.
A company representative however said: “There is no truth in the statement that ‘Mall of India’ has been put off. Construction has not been stalled. Its planning and development is under full swing.”
The company had originally planned to open this mall by 2010. this might now get delayed to 2011.
