Warner Bros to close down DVD operations in South Korea
US based movie studio Warner Bros has announced that they are going to close down their DVD marketing and distribution operation in South Korea.
These operations would now be transferred to a local party.
The company said that the transition would be made in the coming weeks.
Incidentally, this comes just months after the company announced their plans to make available their movies through video on demand services.
Warner faces intense piracy problems in this market where broadband speeds are much better than most other countries.
