Boeing delays 747-8 deliveries
US based aircraft manufacturer Boeing has now said that they are delaying the deliveries of their 747-8 planes.
The company said that the deliveries of this freighter airplanes would be completed in third quarter of 2010 instead of late 2009 as they had previously announced.
The intercontinental model would get delivered by the second quarter of 2011 instead of late 2010.
Boeing said that the delay in the production and delivery of this aircraft is mostly due to supply chain delays.
The news did not help the company as it’s share took a beating at the stock market.
