Mike Duke is the new CEO of Wal-Mart
Wal-Mart Stores has announced that Mike Duke, vice chairman of its international division would become their new President and CEO when Lee Scott retires next year in February.
Duke would take over his new position in the company on February 1.
He is also becoming a member of the company’s board.
Scott would continue to remain as the Chairman of the company after his retirement.
Wal-Mart further announced the appointment of Eduardo Castro-Wright as their new Vice Chairman.
He would continue to work as president and chief executive of Walmart U.S.
