Dell profits up but sale is down
Dell has again failed to cover the gap with the market leader Hewlett Packard.
The company has come out with their latest revenue report.
Dell gained from their cost cutting efforts as they managed to report fiscal third-quarter earnings that exceeded Wall Street expectations.
The sales for the company were however down.
The profits for the quarter was up at $727 million, or 37 cents a share, on revenue of $15.16 billion.
The company said in a statement about their plans for the coming months: “We would like to gain share but are more focused on solid profitability.”
