Jet Airways to cut salaries to prevent job cuts
Jet Airways has proposed a salary cut for their employees in order to prevent firing any employees to cut costs.
The aviation industry in India is struggling and it has become necessary for them to stay competitive to survive in these tough times.
Naresh Goyal discussed this plan with the company employees.
Pilots and engineers are expected to take a cut of around 20%. Company executives are expected to take a cut of around 25%.
Jet has also decided that they would not be paying any allowance to trainee pilots.
