Honda India to raise prices of their models
Honda Siel Cars has announced that they are going in for a hike in the prices of their models in the Indian market.
The company has just rolled back the discount on their Civic Hybrid after selling the number of units they had aimed for.
Honda said that the prices on their models would go up by Rs 10000 to Rs 1.5 lakh from January next year.
This price hike is necessary for the company as the prices of raw materials have gone up.
Jnaneswar Sen, marketing vice-president for Honda Siel Cars said in a statement: “Many of the parts are imported and the rupee’s depreciation has made them expensive. Thus, we will be revising car prices with effect from the first week of January.”
Honda CR-V would get the steepest price hike.
