HM-Shifeng Winner: Chinese truck launched by Hindustan Motors

Hindustan Motors has announced the launch of a new truck which has been manufactured by a Chinese company.

This new truck is HM-Shifeng Winner which is co-branded with Chinese auto company Shandong Shefing.

This new model is being manufactured at their Uttarpara plant.

They have priced this new model at Rs 3.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The company said that the truck is capable of payloads of one-tonne.

It would compete directly with Tata Ace which is pretty successful in its segment in the market.

A company representative added about this new product: “The Uttarpara plant will manufacture 1,000 mini-trucks a month and will use the idle capacity ever since Ambassador sales began to shrink following the entry of Maruti Udyog some 25-odd years ago.”
