Sierra Wireless to acquire Wavecom for €218 million
hardware manufacturer Sierra Wireless has announced that they are now going to acquire French company Wavecom for €218 million.
The two companies have agreed on the deal which would be carried out through separate, concurrent tender offers in France and the U.S.
They expect this acquisition deal to be complete by the first quarter of next year.
Wavecom would help Sierra expand their presence in European and Asian markets.
