Carl Icahn not interested in partial sale of Yahoo assets
Yahoo stock holder and billionaire investor Carl Icahn has said that he would not want Yahoo to sell parts of itself to rumored parties like former AOL Chief Executive Jonathan Miller or anyone else.
Icahn said that such deals do not put a great value on the company assets and it would not be in Yahoo’s interest.
He stated: “I don’t think there is very much to having a partial bid for the company, at least as a large shareholder.”
Miller is said to be arranging finances to get into an acquisition deal with Yahoo. These are just rumors at the moment.
Icahn further said that Yahoo needs to get into a deal with Microsoft over search technologies.
