Jet Airways also cuts fuel surcharge
After Air India and Kingfisher Airlines, now Jet Airways has announced a cut in fuel surcharge.
The company is reducing this surcharge by around Rs. 400. This would benefit the customer as the prices of tickets would go down.
The cut is applicable on all tickets sold on the domestic route.
The cut is also applicable on both Jet Airways and its wholly- owned subsidiary JetLite.
They have not cut any prices on the basic ticket fares.
The cut was expected after the aviation fuel prices were reduced by the Indian government. The government had appealed to the airline companies to pass on the benefit to the end customer.
